Can you tell the quality from the color of PCB?

First of all, as a printed circuit board, PCB mainly provides the interconnection between electronic components. There is no direct relationship between color and performance, and the difference of color will not affect the electrical performance. The performance of PCB board is determined by material(high Tg), layout design and layers of boards. However, in the process of washing PCB, black is the most likely to cause color difference. If the raw materials and manufacturing process used by PCB Factory are slightly deviated, the defective rate of PCB will increase due to color difference. This directly leads to an increase in production costs.
In fact, the raw materials of PCB are easily visible in our daily life, that is, glass fiber and resin. Of course, the PCB board which is made of glass fiber and numerical value alone can not conduct signals. Therefore, on the PCB substrate, PCB manuafactuer will cover the surface with a layer of copper, so the PCB substrate can also be called Copper Clad Laminate（CCL）.
As the circuit wiring of black PCB is difficult to identify, it will increase the difficulty of maintenance and debugging in the R & D and after-sales stage. Generally, if there is no R & D designer with profound skills and strong maintenance team, it will not be easy to use black PCB. It can be said that the use of black PCB is a brand of R & D design and maintenance team confidence performance. From the side, it is also a reflection of manufacturers' confidence in their own strength.
